TapTaxi is a booking platform, not a fleet owner. Drivers and vehicles belong to vetted local operators who meet our documentation, insurance and conduct requirements — the same model Grab and Tada use.
A car and a professional driver booked for you alone, door to door, anywhere in Cambodia. You choose the vehicle class and the pickup time; nobody else shares the ride. Prices are agreed before you travel and paid in cash to the driver on arrival.

For a private taxi, the site shows a suggested fare for the route and vehicle you pick, then you submit the price you want to pay. An operator accepts it or comes back with a counter-offer. Nothing is charged while an offer is pending.
On routes we operate regularly, each vehicle class carries a published one-way, round-trip and per-seat price. Where no fixed price exists, the site estimates from distance and clearly labels it as an estimate, never as a firm quote.
Taxi fares are collected in cash by the driver at the end of the journey, in US dollars. No card is required and no payment is taken when you book.
